Nightmare Roost Finale

Gavril, Erevel and Agna had surrounded the the Hunting Horror. Ciprian was performing but as he was invisible no one could take advantage of the performance. Armania and Kaklatath flew at a distance from the creature and Ursina was in between ready to heal when needed.

The incessant wind that was blowing seemed to increase and Gavril and Agna found that they couldn't move with haste.  The Horror shook his head and threw Erevel across the abyss hitting a far pillar for significant damage.  The tail slapped Gavril and grappled him.  The constriction was so intense that Gavril lost consciousness.  The wings then battered Agna as the creature healed more damage.

Terror Hall and Nightmare Roost

Armania wanted a restoration as soon as the party awoke from their rest period.  No one seemed affected by Night Terrors and the group was a full strength.

The conversation gravitated toward where to explore next.  The room with the Air Elementals?  The Guardians room, where there were two passages that they hadn't explored yet?  Or the balcony room?

Erevel was ready to head anywhere and had to be stopped from heading off alone. Finally Ciprian acceded to Gavril's request to head for the Air Elementals since the group may have to seal up the fissures in the floor there also.

Heresy Devil reads the Necronomicon

Agna studied the floor and found footprints of the Moon Beasts plus goatish hoof prints leading to the northwest.  Ciprian was eager to head off in that direction but Gavril wanted some healing first.

After the healing was completed the party headed to the northwest and wandered around the passageways again, up and down curving in inexplicable manners and crossing crevices.  The prints did not seem to waver from their heading, no side trips to the walls or stopping.

The group found themselves coming toward the lake where they had fought the GraveKnight from the northeast, the only path the group had not taken.  A study of the lake bottom found no evidence of the Necronomicon, neither did a review of the hidden Yithian cache.

Weiralai Returns

"Should we continue into the chamber?  Maybe we can make it past these Air Elementals without their noticing us," Ciprian suggested.

"How do we know the passage out of this chamber leads anywhere?" Gavril countered.

"We don't," Armania added in.

"So what if we turn around and head to the other exit from the Leng Ghoul chamber?" Gavril said.

"OK, if that is the way we want to go, then let's get going," Erevel said anxiously.

Horror at the Camp Site

Ciprian, concerned about not seeing the on going battle, cast Greater Dispel Magic on top of the smoke cloud.  Dejectedly he saw that the smoke did not disappear.  If any other result happened he could not assure.

Gavril was still spitting vitriol at Erevel as Kaklatath moved closer to and slightly into the smoke but she was not able to make out any figures.

Armania had Getaway ready to go and invoked it, allowing the whole party to escape to the camp outside Neruzavin.  As the party arrived, they noticed the camels were missing, along with Hassad.  Worse they saw a dead Ash Giant corpse lying atop its blood soaking into the baked ground.

The Saffron Prince

"Would it be possible to get another Restoration in the morning?  I am still feeling weak." Gavril opined.

"You can't have another one for that case for 4 more days." Ursina responded.

"I have to live this way for that much more time?  This is a pain."

"We can remove or reduce some madnesses for others." Ursina shot back.

"On another note, can you check to see if I have some sort of disease or poison?  I have had a problem for more than one day," Gavril again whined.

Kaklatath Revitalized

Erevel led the way north from the Yithian guarded chamber.  Again the passage was covered with graffiti in the same language as before.  Gavril confirmed that it had the same dystopian view of the world and future.

The passage wound back and forth, up and down, and was crisscrossed in places by crevices, large and small. After twenty or thirty minutes of hiking Erevel saw the passage end at an east-west passage.  Moving slowly up toward the intersection Erevel saw the west end turn almost immediately to the north while the east passage continued but had a north passage off of it a few feet in.  She did not hear any noise, talking or smell anything unusual.
